I have many happy memories of spending time with Auntie Ida especially in the summer months. One of those memories was spending a few days with her and the children making noodles with the eggs my Mom gave her for that purpose. The whole house in Macklin was used as a place to drape and dry the noodles before they were packaged up. No place anywhere in the house to sit while those noodles dried. And of course we got to take some of them home with us to enjoy. There were also many times when Mom would bring us into Macklin as well for appointments in town, and while there, we would always drop in to see Auntie either at home or somewhere else in town where she was working. Those memories are precious. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother and grandmother. We were sorry to hear of Ida's passing. We knew Ida though St. Joseph's Healthcentre and many years at the Health Foundation Golf Tournaments. May happy family memories help you through this sad time.
