There aren’t any words that can sufficiently explain how much Curtis meant to me. At the time of his passing, it had been years since I had seen him. But there was a time, when we were young, living in Provost. I considered him to be my closest friend. He was like a brother to me. He looked out for me, protected me. Even years later when we were no longer in each others lives, just knowing that he was in the world, always made mine feel a little safer. It is my biggest regret that I didn’t stay close to him. I never stopped loving him, but I allowed years to pass and before I knew it, it was too late. My friend was gone, there will never be another person quite like Curtis. Curtis was fun and funny, but also serious and driven. He was trustworthy loyal and honest, he was always there for me, he was there for all his friends and family.. I wish I had better words to pay proper tribute to his life and memory, but writing this is excruciating, so I will just say. With all my love, Bye for now Curtis.
