William Arthur Ridley was born on June 25, 1941, in Macklin, Saskatchewan, to William and Alieta (née Allen) Ridley.
William passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 84 years, at the Provost Health Centre Long Term Care.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Roberta; his children, Willie Ridley (Bernie), Donna (Steven) Stuckless, Lauretta (Jim) Gabrielson, Christine Ridley, Marlene Gould (Darrell Loughee), and Monica Ridley (Tim Rachinski); his grandchildren, Donald, Danny, Melina (Garrett), Norma Jean (Chad), Nadine, Levi, Shyla, Jona, Mike, and Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Raine, Alexander, Bree, Ashlyn, Kylan, Sidney, and Hudson; his brother, Robert Ridley; his sisters, Jenny Skinner and Dorothy (Perry) McMann; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
William was predeceased by his parents, William and Alieta Ridley; his sisters, Doris Ridley and Mabel Schultz; and his son-in-law, Gerald Gould.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
