We always enjoyed a visit with Joan whenever she brought Barb down for a visit. Her sparkling personality and great knowledge of many subjects made for a great conversation. She was always kind and caring of each person she met, and especially her family. She phoned us just a few days previous to her demise, to see how we were doing. A sampler on my wall reads "God gave us memories, that we may have roses in December." Thank you for planting us roses, Joan. Condolences to all the family.

When I think of Joan, my memories of are a kind, smiling "angel" who always had time to stop and say hi. She had such a gentle way that drew people to her and she always made time to volunteer at church. Calvin, my heart goes out to you during this difficult time.
