Obituary of Donald Arthur Weaver

Donald Weaver was born on September 2, 1936, in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. Grandpa started work early, changing jobs as he moved to various locations across Alberta and B.C to eventually settle down on the back 40, the family farm. Grandpa was hard working, if you held his hands, you knew they had seen many hard laborious days shovelling, fixing, and farming in general. Pastimes included a good joke, playing pool, playing crib, bible study, attending gospel jamborees, and traveling in general.  Grandpa will be greatly missed.

On June 17, 2025, Donald peacefully went to meet his Lord and Saviour. He passed away at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 88 years.

Don is survived by his sister, Olive; son, and daughter-in-law, Wade and Gina Weaver of Edgerton, Alberta; grandchildren, Melissa Weatherbee, Amanda Goeseels and Joshua Weaver; great grandchildren, Patrick, Morgan, Naomi, Jenna, Rebecca, Francis and Venezia; great- great grandchildren, Tiberius and Aurora. He is also survived by niece and nephews, Olea and family, Vernon Anderson and family, Gordon Anderson and family and Danny Holmedal and family.

He was predeceased by his wives, Eunice and Shirley; two daughters, Wanda and Katrina; as well as his parents.
