It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Anne Fleck, who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025.
Deb was born to Gilbert and Dorothy Fleck on October 9, 1960. Deb was raised in Hayter, Alberta. Mom always said raising a family in Hayter was nothing better! Deb lived a life defined by kindness, loyalty and dedication.
After high school, Deb attended N.A.I .T. In Edmonton and completed the Health Information Management Course. Following this, Deb worked in hospitals in Alberta, Yellowknife, NWT and then eventually made the move to Prince George, BC. She spent 30 years in Prince George where she built a long and meaningful career at the Regional Hospital (now known as UHNBC) as a Release of Information Coordinator. Deb’s hard work and dedication left a lasting impact with her colleagues.
Deb had a special love for dogs and found joy in their companionship. She also cherished time spent with friends, creating bonds that lasted through the years. Whether sharing a laugh, a quiet moment, or a story, Deb made everyone feel seen and valued.
Deb is lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy; brother, Glen (Cris); sisters, Joan (Dean) and Dana; nephews, Joel and Ryan; nieces, Teri (Tom) and Kelsey; grand niece and nephew, Blake and Cameron.
Deb was predeceased by her father, Gilbert Fleck.
Deb’s strength, warmth and unwavering support will be missed deeply by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Deb’s light, love and laughter will remain in our hearts forever.
