Obituary of Tony Brooke Reine
Please share a memory of Tony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Brooke Reine, who left us far too soon. Born December 10th, 2006 and passed from this life September 17th, 2025.
Tony was a bright, adventurous, and kind-hearted young man whose laughter and energy lit up every room he entered. He had a deep love for the outdoors, whether it was fishing on calm waters, working on trucks in the shop, or exploring trails and ditches with nerves of steel, not to mention the untold adventures with his brothers and friends. His hands were never afraid of hard work, and his spirit thrived in moments of freedom and joy.
He will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered by his parents, Marla and Aaron Reine; and his brothers, Devlan, Wyatt, and Zander, who loved him without measure. Tony also leaves behind his grandparents, Ruth and Larry Reine, Helen Marshall (Baba), and Shelly McClement, who each held a special place in his heart.
Tony’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and memories that will continue to warm the hearts those of who knew him. His Viking like stature, brilliant hazel eyes, flowing blonde hair was truly impressive but nothing as impressive as the love he had for his family and friends. Most notably how he grew up underneath the hood of a vehicle with his dad, Aaron, who he adored and emulated. From the time he was three he was destined to be a little grease monkey that turned into a fully grown grease gorilla. Lift engines and transmission with ease...
Truley Tony left a lasting impression to all he met. Devlan reflects on Tony dropping everything, jumping in the Jetta (if it started) to run and help pick something up or exuberantly joining him on a spontaneous adventure . Wyatt reflects on looking forward to sledding with Tony, always a pinned handle bar adventure loved by both. Zander is reminded of the big brother that got an unfixable Jetta but loved the fact he got to work on the square body Chevy's. Tony's love of cats is second only to his Mother Marla's love of cats. Tony loved his mother beyond expression as she did him, not just the cats.
His absence leaves an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Though Tony has left this world, his spirit will live on in the fields he roamed, the waters he fished, and the countless lives he touched. Although we try to make sense of something that is impossible to understand we turn our thoughts to the heart that Tony wore on his sleeve.
Tony's final words written with sorrow and love read like this:
"Try to think of the positives the sun will still shine birds will still sing and leftovers still in the fridge "
