Obituary of Imelda Feser

Please share a memory of Imelda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep love and gratitude that the family of Imelda Feser (née Gartner) announces her peaceful passing on November 1, 2025, at Provost Health Centre in Provost, Alberta, at the age of 89 years.

Imelda was born on June 27, 1936, in Macklin, Saskatchewan, to Joseph and Magdalena Gartner. In 1958, she met the love of her life, John Feser, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and faith.

A devoted wife and proud mother of ten, Imelda poured her heart into her family. She was a caring homemaker who always put others before herself, finding joy in the simple moments of family life. As a loyal member of the Catholic Women’s League, she lived her faith through service and generosity, touching countless lives with her kindness.

Imelda’s love was perhaps felt most deeply in the warmth of her home. She delighted in singing lullabies to her grandchildren and baking their favorite treats. She found happiness in dancing, sewing, and cherished her daily walks and coffee dates with friends. Her laughter, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered forever.

Imelda will be lovingly missed by her children: Darryl, and his children Callan (Victoria), Landon (Jenna), and Rhianne; Deanna (Dean) and their children Simon (Jenna), Abbey (Chris), Kimberley (Zac), Daniele (Owen), and Lyndsey; Lynnsay (Val) and their children Raegan (Rachel) and Ashton; Lorne (Denise) and their children Melissa (Brent), Tiffany (Joe), and Tyson; Collin (Natalie) and their children Brendan (Jen) and Tanyr (Taylor); Leah (Glen) and their children Spencer (Kim), Jenn (Ryan), and Kendra; Myron (Rhonda) and their children Justin (Megan) and Scott (Tianna); Nancy (Ted) and their children Tyler (Stephanie), Brooklyn (Mark), and Eric; Monique (Rob) and their children Haley, Austin, Taylor, Garrett, and Jayme;
Carrie (Trent) and their children Jackson, Brock, and Holly; as well as 27 great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John, sisters Angelina and Eileen, brothers Ted, Wilfred, and Irvin, and son-in-law Ernest.

Imelda’s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in all those whose lives she touched.
