Dianne was such a beautiful woman, I will always remember her huge smile, her love for her babies and Pepsi, and for the kisses she would often give me. She always loved to have someone sit with her and listen and talk, she knew everything that was said. You could always tell how much she loved her children, she loved her LTC babies and was always worried about them. She would let us “babysit” so she could get some sleep, however there were not many nights she slept without one of those babies tucked in with her. She would talk to them ( even if it was loud and maybe screaming lol) she loved on them and would even give those babies lots of kisses. Dianne was a strong woman, If she didn’t want to move then you knew it. She would push herself back in her chair and that was that. Thank goodness her family brought her chocolate treats, because she would sit up to get those and we could help her with ease.
Dianne, I’m going to miss our “ Eskimo kisses” and the forehead touches, I will miss your Incredible smile and just miss sitting with you and talking to you.
To Dianne’s family, Thank you for sharing your mom with us in LTC, she was loved so very much and will be miss more than you know. Thinking of you all, I’m so very sorry for your loss.

My memories of Diane began at a young age. Debbie was one of five in our grade when they moved to their farm by Primate.
We soon became inseparable. I practically lived at their farm while we were growing up. Diane always squeezed another plate around their already cramped kitchen table and treated me like one of her own children. She or Mark drove me to every figure skating lesson for many years.
When I went to their farm to hang out with Debbie we played all of Diane’s ABBA, Chrystal Gayle and Johnny Cash records and danced and sang at the top of our lungs.
Diane always had ice cream pails of frozen cookies in their freezer. I can still remember the taste of her big thick jam jam cookies. They were the best.
Thank you Diane for sharing your meals, records, cookies and your incredible family with me. I will never forget you! ❤️❤️
