In Loving Memory of

Richard “Rick” Stupka

October 9, 1951 – January 10, 2026

Rick was born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, on October 9, 1951. He passed away on January 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unforgettable moments.

Rick married the love of his life, Marnie, on June 13, 1974. Together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage and raised three children: Ian, Sari, and Corrine. Family was at the heart of Rick’s life, and he was never prouder than when surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Rick had a passion for the outdoors and working with his hands. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, gold prospecting, and welding. Known for his humour and well-worn sayings — including “For fuck sakes,” “Fuck Marn,” and his signature pfft — Rick brought laughter and authenticity wherever he went.

Rick will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, Marnie; his children, Ian (Gabe), Sari (Kenny), and Corrine (Dan); and his grandchildren, Alana (Andrew), great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Avery, and baby on the way; Logan, Dalen, Kylie (Tristan); Xander, Ashlyn (Dylan); Jesse (Gabby), Henley, and Ari.

Rick was predeceased by his parents, Sergius and Rhoda Stupka; and his sister, Sylvia Redl.

Forever in our hearts, Forever in our memories.
