Obituary of Evelyn Lorraine Kluck

Evelyn Lorraine Whitney was born February 2, 1941 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Macklin, Sask. to Jesse and Emma Whitney. She was the last child of 14 born to them and was the last sibling to pass on March 6, 2026 at St. Josephs Health Centre, Macklin, Sask.
She was raised in Evesham, Sask. and had many escapades as a child with her brothers and sisters. She met Roman Kluck from across the border, they courted and were married on September 5, 1959 in Evesham, Sask. They spent 66 years together.
Evelyn throughout her life was involved in various organizations including being on the local school board, Girl Guide organization as a leader and then District Commissioner for a few more years. She took Community college courses in Sewing, Typing and Ceramics, spent many hours at the Mud Hut (Baier’s Boutique). She also curled, disced and golfed. In addition, she was a farm wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (AKA Nana). She loved to bake and cook.
Travelling with Roman became a passion and they went to Mexico, Cuba & Hawaii.
Evelyn leaves behind her husband Roman and three children: Daughter, Roxanna (Gabe) and their family, Wendy, Delaney (Cody), Damen & Brielle; Wayne (Jana), Wesley, Jesse, & Walker; and James (Nadine), Colten & Braelyn; Daughter, Rhonda (Hal) and their family, Elizabeth (Chase) and Samantha; Son, John (Lisa) and their family, Joshua, Taylor (Shane) and Larissa (Calder). She is survived by her brother-in-law, Don Butts and many numerous nieces & nephews.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:30 pm at the New Horizon’s Drop In Centre in Macklin, Sask.
In Lieu of flowers: Donors Choice or Evelyn’s choices: Stars, Operation Smile, Telemiracle and St. Joseph’s Health Centre.
The interment of ashes will be at Rosenheim Cemetery at a later date.
