Cole has shared with me some of his favorite memories of Owen, he spoke of the sleepovers, the tubing, playing hockey and sharing a classroom at school with him. Q: What was Owen like as a child? A: When he was about 6-8 years old, I remember Owen on the bus and always coming in to visit Debbie and me at the hair salon! He had a huge crush on me (I am 10 years older than him)! Debbie said she remembered the time he came in for a haircut, saw me, and turned around, saying, "No way!" It was so cute, he was always the sweetest kid, including when we bugged him about it! He even picked me flowers from the ditch! I always believed he would make a girl very happy one day!

Boys were bored one weekend and thought it would be a good idea to steer wrestle some goats. Ryden held the goat and let it go and as it took off running, Owen chased it, grabbed it by the horns and took it down. However Owen came back up covered in goat shit. Country boys doing country things. Lol

We hope in time you are able to find comfort in the love that surrounds you and in all your memories you share. The friendship that Owen and Ryden had will not be forgotten. You don't find friends like that very often and it makes me happy to know that they shared a great friendship. Like you said, they were "two peas in a pod"!
