Obituary of Philomina Anne Reinbold

Philomina was born November 17, 1921, the 3rd child of 8 born to Alexander and Amelia Sieben. She has two sisters, Rose and Pauline and 5 brothers, Peter, Edmund, Blasé, Albert and Alois. She grew up on the home farm near Cosine, Saskatchewan. On November 3, 1943 she married Matthew Reinbold and they were blessed with 6 children. They were also blessed with 15 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and three more arriving in the near future. These children were Philomina's pride and joy. Her face would light up during their visits and she would proudly exclaim, "These are MY girls" or "These are MY boys". Philomina was a member of the Macklin CWL for 60+ years. She also spent many years nursing at the St. Joseph's Hospital here in Macklin. Years that she remembered fondly and spoke of often. Philomina will be missed and lovingly remembered by her Sons, Raymond (Arnel), Micheal (Inna) and Gerard (Elaine); Son-in-Laws, Richard Pilon, Tom (Cecile) Stang and Brad Yurkiw; Grandchildren, James Derkoch, Daniel Derkoch, Michelle (Dana) Paulson, Patrick Reinbold, Darren (Deanna) Stang, Bobbie (Albert) St. Jean, Melissa (Niles) McEvoy, Micheal Jr. (Margaret) Reinbold, Alexandra Reinbold, Brian (Charlie) Scherger, Chylo Scherger, Janine (Jason) Wood and Stephanie (Frank) Dieser; Great Grandchildren, Alyssa (Chris) Kavanagh, Dylan Stang, Haley Stang, Amanda (Jean Paul) Berube, Vanessa (Matthew) Brill, Jude McEvoy, Jasmine, Jayden and Jackson Wood, Dalton, Payton and Kinley Dieser; Great Great Grandchildren, Ayla Berude, Madison Berube and Shay Brill and Sister-in-Law Angeline Sieben/Fisher, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Philomina was predeceased by her husband, Matthew; Daughters, Loretta Derkoch/Pilon, Dianna Stang and Vera Scherger/Yurkiw; Daughter -in-Law, Cyndy Reinbold; Grandson, Kelly Derkoch; Granddaughter, Stacey Lee Reinbold; Parents, Alexander and Amelia and brothers, sisters and in-laws. A Vigil service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Macklin, Saskatchewan with Father Binu Rathappillil Mani V.C. officiating. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.
