Katherine was born on December 29, 1916 to John & Katherine Beier at Compeer, Alberta. She grew up on the Beier farm and in 1936 married George where they began their life together at the Walsh Place. In 1979 they retired and moved into Provost to Crestwood Place. Katie enjoyed cooking, sewing, baking, playing cards and spending time with her family. Her faith provided her comfort that made her life complete. Katie passed away peacefully in her home at Crestwood Place on March 23, 2010 with her daughter by her side. She was 93 years of age. Katie is survived by her children, Emma, Joe(Marg), Adeline, Elsie(Ambrose), Shirley & Alfred; 18 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sisters Rosie & Amelia; and many relatives and friends. Katie was predeceased by her husband, George; son in laws, Mike, Melvin, Peter; seven brothers and two sisters.
