Obituary of David "Dave" Roy Fraser

David Roy Fraser, also known as Dave, was born October 30, 1956, in Provost, Alberta to Roy and Joan Fraser.

He grew up on the family farm west of Provost along with his three siblings Marilyn, Don, and Ken.

Dave went to Provost Public School and graduated in 1974. He married the love of his life Anne Grocock on July 16, 1982. They had three sons, Cole, Lance, and Blair.

Some of his favorite pastimes were rodeo, woodworking, trail riding, researching maps, reading, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dave passed away on May 3, 2024, at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 67 years.

Dave is survived by his wife, Anne; sons, Cole (Shana) and their children Kadin, Carson and Halie; Lance (Krista) and their children Chet, Kitt, Brin and Cort; Blair (Amanda); mother, Joan Fraser; siblings, Marilyn (Chuck) Nicholls, Don (Marlene) Fraser and Ken (Danita) Fraser; parents in law, Robert and Miriam Grocock; brothers and sisters in law, Susan (John) Early, Russel (Carmen) Grocock, Trish (Murray) Fleck, Marilyn Grocock, Darrell (Rhonda) Grocock and Jeff (Karen) Grocock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Roy Fraser and brother, Warren Fraser.

A Funeral for Dave will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the Provost Recreation & Culture Centre. Private family interment to follow at the Provost Cemetery.
