Obituary of Wayne Allan Letniak

Wayne “Wayvet” Letniak was born March 6, 1959, in Consort, Alberta. He was the third of four born to Fran and Dan Letniak.

Wayne passed away suddenly on December 15, 2023, at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 64 years.

He’ll be forever missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Barb; Daughters Melonie (Kirk) Sortland and their children, Daphnie (Jeremy), and Kale; Sherri (Mark) Mohr and their children, Claire, Kasey, and Lilly; Jacky (Kent) Heistad and their children, Bella and Liv; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00PM at the Veteran Hall in Veteran, Alberta. The funeral service will be livestreamed if the cellular service is strong enough. If not, the service will be recorded and available after the service time to the viewed.

If friends so desire, memorial donations are being gratefully accepted to the Consort Hospital Auxiliary.
