Met Randy in the Fall of '86 when Alias camped at my abode for a few days while recording in Edmonton . Much jamming & laughter jamming in my garage and additional laughter when the Alias boys ( apparently accidentally ) devoured my homemade sausage ( that was earmarked for a pot luck at my work place ) . Everyone had a good laugh except for the guy who had to replace the pot luck dish .
Enjoyed 1 on 1 jams in his basement at his home and we always spoke of doing some gigs together . I unfortunately saw less of Randy over the years but whenever we met , we indulged in good conversation & belly laughs . He had a great sense of specialized humour . A kindhearted , insightful man with an abundance of integrity . His new home will benefit from his likeable character .

So sorry to hear of the passing of Randy. My condolences go out to you and your family Bonnie. I first met Randy when he worked at shooters. He was very polite, happy and fun to be around. Our fastball club called the All-stars enjoyed going to shooters after our ball games. When the band Alias got together I got to know Randy very well. I was the light technician and travelled with the band. He always enjoyed my homemade noodle soup, and cabbage rolls.
Randy was a very good musician and i enjoyed watching him perform. I will never forget all the good times we had. I enjoyed the great conversations we had over a cup of coffee and the odd beer. Randy will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again my dear friend RIP Randy.

This has been tough pill to shallow, where to begin is the most difficult part.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Randy at Trilogy, the first day I met him his energy and charisma instantly stuck with me. I cherished every time we crossed paths and embraced his stories of yesteryears as well as the problems of today, we laughed and joke a lot and with his smirk you knew he enjoyed it as well. He was infectious so much that we formed a great bond some much that I asked him to play his acoustic guitar for mine and my wife’s wedding as she walked down the aisle. Lasting memory which we often share with others. He was the most beautiful genuine soul I met and his family all took some of that with them. He cares a lot for his family and he would always share his enjoyment with me. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
To the coolest guy I ever met, rest easy and ride free my brother.
Love you.
Anthony Preikschas.

Randy always made us feel so welcome on our visits west. He clearly enjoyed good conversation and we saw that much of his attention was to friends, family and enjoying life. No doubt a great guy to have in your circles. You'll be missed by this part of the McIntyre clan, Scott, Clare, Danielle, Sydney and Neva

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Randall passing.
Randy and I developed a special bond while we spent some years on the road with WinterKill.
We didn't have a lot of interaction after everyone settled down but he was thought of often.
Our condolences to Bonnie and the family.
