Dear Linda,
I have been thinking of you since we heard the news. Truly you found your soul mate and both of you built a beautiful life together.
Thinking also of the Tessman family. In our growing up years in Mullingar/Mayfair area we regarded you all as dear ‘family’. ‘Butch’ was a kind and generous friend sharing time, considerate and respectful as a young person. It is no surprise that he has made the world around him a better place. Our sincere condolences to all of you, We regret that our paths have not passed throughout the decades.
Mary-Lou, Dorothy, Ruthie’Neumann’
Linda… my heart goes out to you, may you feel the love and support of those who hold you close.

Oh Linda. My heart aches for you. Vern was a wonderful person who will live in the hearts of many. I truly doubt that he had any enemies! I remember when he came to town and shortly after brought you. The town was a better place when you guys moved in, and the world is poorer now that he has left us. Sincere condolences to you and the girls. Judy Tattersall.

So sorry for the loss of Vern as a dear friend and my condolences go to his wonderful family. Thanks to my partner Bev, I had the privilege of sharing wonderful times with Vern and Linda and cherish the adventures, the conversations and the many activities we all enjoyed together . Vern’s sense of humour, wisdom, his common sense approach to life and the kindness he exhibited to all were just a few of his many attributes I admired.

We were shocked and deeply saddened on hearing of Vern's passing. He was a remarkably wonderful person. Students, parents, grandparents, colleagues and community members loved, respected and appreciated him. Their admiration for him was well founded. Vern was a colleague and very close friend of mine for the past 58 years. We had many enjoyable times together. He was a caring and sincere individual with a warm heart and a great sense of humor. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many. Sincere condolences to Linda and family. He will be fondly remembered and missed.
