Kenneth John Stuber was born on January 21, 1945, in Hanna, Alberta to parents, John and Regina Stuber. He was raised on the farm near Craigmyle, Alberta.

On July 9, 1980, Ken married Fay O’Hara and together they raised their family in Provost until eventually moving to the acreage where the two would eventually build their slice of heaven on earth.

With his family by his side, Ken died the way he lived, quietly and with dignity. He passed away on August 4, 2024, at the Provost Health Centre, at the age of 79 years.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Fay; children, Doug (Gerri) Cabana, Shane (Tom) Stuber, Darryl (Melissa) Cabana, Roxy (Dustin) Fennimore, Brett (Shauna) Stuber, Jason (Amanda) Stuber, and Sheldon (Maribel) Stuber; grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew (Sophia), Stephanie (Ryan), Braden (Kaitlyn), Colton (Kensey), Taryn (Danielle), Mathia, Lilliana, Trinity (Logan), Camden (Ashley), Kaitlyn, and Brieanna; great grandchildren, Peyton, Blake, Kane, Autumn, Benson, Lucy, Hazel, and Baby B who is on the way; brother, Wayne (Mary) Stuber; sisters and brothers in law, Eileen (Bob) Frank, Francis (Karen) O’Hara, Bonnie O’Hara, Mary (Rob) Lane, Martha (Dan) Twa, and Betty Head; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ken was predeceased by his grandson, Jace Robert Stuber; his great grandson, Hayes Hardee Ganser; and his brother in law, Lawrence O’Hara.

A private family graveside will take place at the Skyline Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully being accepted to the Skyline Cemetery Fund C/O Central Lutheran Church.
