Victor Florian Scheck was born on August 18, 1946, in Macklin, Saskatchewan to parents, Jacob and Katherina Scheck.

Victor passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 78 years.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy; children, Lorianne (Bill) Marshall and their children, Chantelle Marshall, Breanna (Tyson) Winter and their children, Eli & Esmé; Damien Marshall (Brandy), and Jared (Promise) Marshall; Brenda Scheck and her children, Katie and Andrew; Curtis Scheck; Cindy (Ray) Genest and their children, Dawson (Carly) and Nolan; sister, Sr. Ludvina Scheck; brothers and sisters in law, Elsie Scheck, Alex (Emily) Rolheiser, Vicki Schlosser, Della (August) Weinkauf, Dolores (Leonard) Schlosser, Kathy Rolheiser, and Agnes Rolheiser; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Victor was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Katharina; siblings, Adam Scheck, John (Joyce) Scheck, Clementine (Phillip) Fisher, and Francis Scheck; brothers and sisters in law, Sr. Donata Rolheiser, Hubert Rolheiser, John Rolheiser, Hilda (Joe) Rottmar, Doreen (Bernard) Gartner, and Mike Schlosser.

A funeral mass for Victor will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Macklin, Saskatchewan at 10:30 a.m. with Father Santhosh Thekkekulam officiating. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery. For those travelling from Alberta, please remember the one-hour time change.
