Obituary of Roy Carson

Roy was born on December 6, 1962, in Hardisty, Alberta. He was the first born to Gordon and Beth Carson. 3 1/2 years later his sister Sheila was born. Roy was a true farm boy. He loved fishing and hunting. Roy and his sister loved when there was an orphan calf they could feed and make a pet of.

He took his schooling in Amisk and Hughenden. He loved motorcycles, cars, trucks, and animals. He worked on the pipeline for 2 or 3 winters, then came back to the farm. He liked helping people and enjoyed joking with anyone he met. One time, when he was at the store a young mom was buying some things for her baby and herself and she was short of money so was taking back her personal items. Roy passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 62 years. 

Roy was predeceased by his grandparents, Vic and Elsie Carson, Roy and Millie Cameron; and uncle, Philip Cameron.

Roy is survived by his children, Kendyle (Pat), Colten, and Chase; parents, Gordon and Beth Carson; sister, Sheila (Dwight) Heltman; nephew, Vincent (Tara) Seeger; niece, Victoria (Austin) Hallam; great niece, Rowan Hallam; very close friend, Mike Nelson; and many other family, numerous friends and neighbours.
