Obituary of Mary Schachtel

Mary Schachtel was born to Peter and Helen Kohlman on March 25, 1918 in the St. Donatus area. She passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Health Centre in Macklin, Saskatchewan on March 22, 2013 at the age of 94 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Irene, Wendel (Lorraine), Rose (Charles), Leona (Richard), Aurelia, Deana (Jim), Leo (Marilyn), Tony (Elly), August (Willie), Gabe (Sherri), Michael (Bernice), Theresa (Fred) and Pius (Theresa); fifty grandchildren; seventy great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Mary), Peter, Ed (Nicole) and Leo (Rose Marie); sisters, Rose and Josie (Jim). Mary was predeceased by her husband, Ralph (1988); daughter, Agnes (1998); sisters, Katie (John) and Anne (John); brother, John (Rose); sons in law, Clarence Grad and Wilfred Gartner; brothers in law, Nels and John; sisters in law, Agnes and Anne.
