Obituary of Sylvester Alex Stang

Sylvester Alex Stang was born December 31, 1932 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Adolf and Rose Stang (nee Hollman). On July 26, 1954 he married Theckla Weinkauf. Together Silver and Tedi raised 6 children, four boys and two girls ~ Cynthia, Dwayne, Bruce, Dale, Lorne and Audra. On April 27, 2013, with his family by his side, Silver passed away peacefully at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Silver will be forever missed and lovingly remember by his wife of 58 years, Tedi; five children, Cindi Plant (Greg) and their children, Mackenzie and Spencer; Dwayne Stang and his children, Candace and Derek and his son, Landon; Bruce Stang (Bernadine) and their children, Dustin (Meghan), Jared and Conner; Lorne Stang (Shirley) and their children, Jordan and Kelsey; Audra Walz (Lee) and their children, Amy, Jenessa and Megan; as well as his brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. Sylvester was predeceased by his infant son, Dale.
