Darin Jacob Buchner was born April 24, 1969 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Anthony and Roseline Buchner. On July 15, 2013 Darin passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 44 years.

Darin was predeceased by his father, Anthony Buchner in 1991; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darin will be remembered for his love of sports. As a young boy he played baseball, hockey and school sports. He graduated from Macklin School and went to work in the oil patch where he finished with Midfield in Macklin. Darin would grow up to become a strong Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He also shared a love for the game of golf and farming. He loved driving farm machinery and the peacefulness and joy it gave him in the open fields, not to mention the home cooked meals from his dear friends Lyndon and Dallas Flad.
Darin often said, "Family means everything to me". His love for his nephew and nieces did not go unnoticed, for he spoiled them and his family terribly. Darin was a good son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts. "Love you Bucky"
