Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
George was born on February 21, 1919 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Peter and Francis Gaida. He attended Western Ridge School and then started farming. On July 10, 1945 he married Elsie Raab at the Rosenheim Church. George and Elsie farmed until 1969 when they retired to Provost. George was an excellent farmer but his real talent was in carpentry. He had the ability to play numerous instruments and enjoyed playing at many gatherings.
George dedicated his life to his wife, family, and friends. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, his honesty and generosity. George passed away at Provost Health Centre on August 18, 2013 at 94 years of age.
