Obituary of Angelica Reinbold
Please share a memory of Angelica to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Angelica Reinbold. Angelica was born June 30, 1938 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Ethelbert and Anna Stang. Angelica was raised on a busy farm south of Macklin, and was an integral part of the ever-growing Stang family that would eventually total 15 children. On October 29, 1956 Angelica married the love of her life, Ralph Reinbold. Together, Ralph and Angelica welcomed seven children into the world and created what would become a cohesive family known for their dedication to each other and strong family values. The family eventually blossomed to include six children and spouses, 14 grand-children and three great-grandchildren.
Ralph and Angelica started Reinbold's Trucking Ltd., which operated as a family business in Macklin. Despite their busy schedule, they remained devoted members of their community and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Among their favorite activities, Ralph and Angelica enjoyed discing, attending rodeos, and participating in community picnics.
Angelica had many hobbies such as quilting, sewing, and the one she was most celebrated for, cooking. She enjoyed making many traditional German foods and always ensured that everyone was well fed. She was a dedicated and active member of St. Mary's parish, participating in the Catholic Women's League and the choir. Angelica truly lived the values of her faith in her everyday life and instilled these values in each of her children.
Angelica passed away on October 3, 2013 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 75. She will be remembered for her class, humility, kindness, and grace. Angelica's immeasurable love for her family was the cornerstone of her time here on earth; the large family that she built together with Ralph was a source of tremendous happiness and pride for her. It is this very family, together with the community that mourns the loss of such an outstanding woman, and will carry her beautiful smile and warm spirit with them forever.
Angelica will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Bernie (Donald†) Bitz, Adele (Frank) Doetzel, Fred (Antonette) Reinbold, Janice (Claude) Heffner, Lori (Terry) Sharp, and Greg (Jennifer) Reinbold; grandchildren, Erica & Derek Bitz, Alicia (Scott) Ripko, Danette (Dylan) Sheehan, Jennifer Doetzel, Jeremy (Jenna), Michael, Daniel, and Tyler Reinbold, Darcie, Morgan, and Hayley Heffner, Mikayla and Cole Sharp; great-grandchildren, Olivia & Madelyn Ripko, and Fynn Sheehan; siblings, Edmund (Irene) Stang, Celine (Leo) Helfrich, Thomas (Lucy) Stang, Imelda Klotz, Bill (Carol) Stang, Tillie (Lloyd) Bichel, Arnie (Sally) Stang, Leo (Marie) Stang, Elmer (Barb) Stang, Jacinta (Maurice) Garand, Benno (Linda) Stang, Theresa (Stuart) Mowat, and Francis (Carolyn) Stang; sister in law, Philomena Reinbold; brothers in law, Peter Dewald & Jack Holan; as well as numerous extended family, friends, and neighbors.
