Geroge was a kind person. He always thought about others even before himself. I can remember days of going over to his house and him preparing meals, even after he had move from his house and came to stay with my Father there was never a day he wouldn't make a meal. Even up until a few months ago when he became sick and was having diffculties eating, he still prepared meals to make sure that everyone had ate even though he wasn't able too. I remember times of him taking my daughters for walks or going to the park with them. He was always a grandfather type in their lifes. He became a part of our family for 8 years. My last memory of Geroge was the Saturday before he had past, I had picked him to go and visit my Mother at a hospital. Arriving there he had pulled out change from his pocket and offered to pay for the parking. He was always so thoughtful and giving. It sadens me that he didn't even get a chance to fight but I'm grateful that he didn't have to suffer.
