Irene Emma Koch was born on November 30, 1933 in Consort, Alberta to Robert and Lena Meier. Irene passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014 at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Gail Deacon and Roxie Koch; daughter in law, Karen Koch; grandchildren, Brittany Deacon, Nicole (Marc) Kristian, Derek Koch and Dalene Koch; sisters, Jenny (Tony) Ference, Mary Doneff and Millie Heinrich; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Following Irene's wishes, a private family interment will take place. Irene was predeceased by her husband, John Koch (1975) and her son, Dale Koch (2013).
