Obituary of Arnold Edmund Dewald

Arnold Edmund Dewald was born on December 1, 1947 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Peter and Rose Dewald. He passed away peacefully with his brother and nephew by his side at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on August 30, 2014 at 66 years of age. He was raised in Cactus Lake and finished high school in Denzil, Saskatchewan. Arnie lived the majority of his adult life working in Calgary in the steel business. It was during his 27 years at Ensteel that he developed wonderful friendships with his co-workers, truly many of them became his extended family. Arnie's interests in life included horse racing, baseball games, curling, golfing and hockey, along with various other sporting events. Arnie is survived by his father, Peter; siblings, Don (Marie), Ken (Marlene), Jimmy (Margaret), Edwin (Donna), Millie (Elmer), Fred (Jen), Joanne (Gary), Jack, Donna (Don), Annette (Kip); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose (August 2006) and nephew, Jody Dewald (April 1988).
