Obituary of Carola Ollenberger

Carola Marie Ollenberger was born August 9th, 1936 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Anton and Barbara (Budwilofski) Ollenberger. Carola passed away on December 9, 2014 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 78 years. Carola grew up on the farm at Grosswerder and attended Palm School. She then moved to Macklin with her parents in 1967. With both her parents deceased, she then resided at the four-plex owned by Three Ply Construction until 2004, then on to the Villa Marie until her death. Carola enjoyed being a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Hospital in Macklin for twenty or more years, faithfully caring for the sick and elderly. She was also an active member of the Town and Country Drop-In Centre as well as a member of the C.W.L. and Hospital Auxiliary. Carola is survived by her sisters; Lucy Bichel and Lily McKenzie; brother, Jimmy (Ramona); brother in law, Bert Parton; as well as many extended relatives and friends. She was predeased by her parents Anton and Barbara; sisters, Martha Parton and Doreen Ollenberger; brothers, Teddy (Ann), Ernest John and Ernest Anthony and brothers in law, Joe Bichel and Teddy McKenzie.
