John Willard Chaney was born April 20, 1935 to Tom & Ruby Chaney in Metiskow, Alberta. John unexpectedly passed away in Rimbey Hospital & Care Centre on May 8, 2015 at 80 years of age. John's legacy will continue on in the lives of his sons, Jack (Deb) Chaney, Rick Chaney, Hans (Brenda) Chaney, Kim (Karen) Chaney; and John will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer), Derek (Crystal), Loreena (Steven), Eric (Melissa), Morgan and Katie; great-grandchild, Karson; sister, Hazel (Bob) Foyd; brother-in-law, Gilbert Lethbridge; as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his wife, Doris; and sisters, Ellen (Norman) Schug and Florence Lethbridge.
