Obituary of Linda May Merrills

On July 8, 2014 Ms. Linda Merrills of Czar, Alberta passed away at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 59 years. Linda May Merrills was born January 23, 1956 in Provost, Alberta to Lola and Harry Merrills. She was raised on the farm south of Czar along with her brother, Ron and sister, Betty. They attended school in Czar and Linda went on to work at various jobs as a cook, waitress and public service in the communities of Czar and Hughenden. Along with these jobs, Linda continued to pitch in on the farm by milking cows and running a greenhouse. Linda would call the farm home for her entire life, living there until the time of her death. Along with the farm, she also loved her dogs, quilting with friends and multiple handicrafts. Linda will be missed greatly by her brother, Ronnie Merrills; three nieces, several great nieces and numerous other relatives and friends.
