Our sincere sympathy to each of you on the passing of your mom/grandma/greatgrandma. Betsy was a wonderful neighbor, friend, and surrogate parent when needed. Gilbert came to know her and like her as much as I did. We had often stopped to see her on our way through Hughenden and were always glad we did. We will miss her but are happy that we were able to have visited at the Hughenden Public School Reunion last September. Sorry this is so late but we only just heard. Our condolences go out to the family of Betsy Davie at this sad time in their lives. Betsy was a very close friend of ours, was a best friend of our dear mother, and we were priviliged to be next door neighbours with her for many years. She always kept us children under her wing along with her own children, and always remembered us and gave us her time when we visited Hughenden. She is dearly loved by our family and will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Jack, Charlotte and all your siblings and Betsy's children, grand children and great grandchildren. Our sincere sympathy to each of you on the passing of Betsy . She was our neighbor, our friend,our confidant, and a treasure to all who knew her. I am so glad that the Knutson family all had the opportunity to visit her this summer.
