I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Mike. It is always a shock when someone so young and full of life is taken from us, but I have to say, his passing is a bit surreal. Mike put up with us as pesky little ones, danced with us as gawky teens and made us all feel special. He was a positive light; fun and precocious. I am happy to have known him. I was saddened to learn about Mike’s passing… I would like to express my condolences to Mike’s family and friends. I met Mike through mining. Besides being qualified to train underground miners, Mike also played a pivotal role in training many other employees from various other departments at Snap Lake. For my part, I had the pleasure welcoming Mike to the Snap Lake training team in his newly expanded role as a Confined Space and Fall Protection instructor. We worked together regularly. It was truly a privilege to have known him, not only as a co-worker but also as a friend. Rest in Peace, Mike.
