Obituary of Victor J. Stang

Victor Joseph was born in Primate, Saskatchewan to Jacob and Mary (Gerling) Stang on May 24, 1931. Born into a farming family, Victor grew up playing hard and learning to work hard along with eight other siblings. As a young man, Victor met and married his beloved wife, Theresa Buechler on August 3, 1954 and together they raised their family of nine children. Victor spent the last few years of his abundant life as a resident of St. Joseph's Health Centre. Surrounded by family, Victor went to his eternal home on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 84 years of age. Victor will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Theresa; children, Cheryl (Ervin) Rehman and their family, Brendan (Jenelle) and Carissa (Tim Lutz); Jeff (Frances) and their family, Adam (Susan Amer), Johanna (Liam Boyd), Lia (Joel Miller) and Judy; Kurt (Lisa) and their family, Agatha, Bakhita & Theodore; Yvonne (Reg) Sonntag and their family, Janine (Dylan Shacker), Kyle (Stephanie Lang), Reid & Eric; Jackie (Arden) Playford and their family, Tyler & Evan; Clareen (Mike) Schafer and their family, Jenessa & Jody (Orrie Lemieux); Perry (Karen) and their family, Garth, Todd & Shane; Vivian (Peter Monette) and their family, Erin & Isaac; great grandchildren, Kian Rehman, Olivia Lutz, Tatum Lutz and Adelaide Boyd; brother, Clarence (Armella) Stang; sisters in law, Louise Stang, Yvonne Stang, Victoria Watchel, Martha Lauder and Sr. Irene Buechler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Victor was predeceased by his daughters, Mary & Jenifer; brothers and sisters, Frieda (August), Ted (Julia), Loretta (Lawrence), Roman, Hilda (Florence), Edwin, Marcella (Harold), Pauline and Mary.
