Obituary of Albert Gordon Adams

Albert Gordon was born on July 23rd, 1952 in Provost, Alberta to Jasper and Gwen Adams. Albert passed away after a brave and lengthy battle with cancer on May 29th, 2016 in the Provost Health Centre at the age of 63. Albert grew up on the farm outside of the Cadogan area with his 6 siblings and later moved into Provost. He lived a full, active life and was very well known in his community with his helpful hands, wealth of knowledge, passion and famous wave as you drove by the back. Albert and his incredibly supportive wife Lila were always busy chasing their kids around their sports in the earlier days, which transferred into grandchildren later on. His passions included his family, playing sports, especially baseball as well as building sheds and spending time at the farm. Albert will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Lila; children Radean (Rory) Lynch and their children; Finn, Pierce, Keane & Bridget, Ryley (Janelle) Adams and their children; Mya, Paisley, Harper & Beckett, and Renee Adams; sisters, Margaret Lunde, Joyce (Ray) Martin and Deb (Ken) Leippi; sister-in-law, Sandra Adams; as well as many extended family and friends. Albert was predeceased by his parents, brother, George; sisters, Doris (Don), Grace, Florence (Don); brother in law Terry Lunde.
