Shirley M. Brundige was born in Provost, Alberta on September 6, 1929 to Clarence and Gertrude Johnson. She passed away peacefully at the Provost Health Centre - Long Term Care on February 19, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Shirley will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Trudy (Steve) Makar and their children, Ryan (Amy), Jarrett and Allissa; Laurie (Ian) Burwash and their children, Kelly (James), Janene (Rob), Craig and Chad; great grandchildren, Brookelyn and Breanna; brother, Garry (Donna) Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Kozlinski; second husband, Bill Brundige; and an infant sister.
