Obituary of Peter A. Hollman
Please share a memory of Peter to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Peter Alex Hollman was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on November 7, 1931 to Mike and Mary Hollman. He grew up on the farm just south of Macklin. In 1957, Peter married Bergetta and together they raised their five children.
Peter had many jobs over the years but farming was his true passion. He helped out at the Kidd farm up until a couple years ago. He also enjoyed playing the accordion, going for coffee and faithfully attending Bingos.
Peter will be most remembered for his enjoyment of his many friends and his ability to make new friends. He has left a legacy that will reflect a strong sense for family and a real appreciation for a good friend, a hot cup of coffee and a good bingo card.
With his family by his side, Peter passed away peacefully on March 1, 2017 at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 85 years.
Pete will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his children, Rose (Paul) Frocklage, Brenda (Peter) Frocklage, Melvin (Kandie) Hollman, Charles (Stella) Hollman and Leroy (Kelly) Hollman; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Ray) Dieser; brother, Joe (Helen) Hollman; in laws, Augustine Sieben, Helen Gartner, Edwin (Vicki) Gartner, Paul (Donna) Gartner, Dave Walker, Roseline Sortland and Jim Southern; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
