When we were very small Dad worked on a turkey farm for a season. One day the owners son, Ken and I were playing outside and a turkey decided that we were in its' space so he started running toward us. The other lad and I jumped up and started running "for our lives" and we yelled at Ken to RUN! But Ken was fearless and stood his ground. The turkey didn't know quite what to make of that and stopped dead in its' tracks. The showdown lasted a good minute according to Mom. I never did find out who won.

To Tammy and family -- Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved brother, Ken. Even though I did not know him personally, I was saddened to hear he died so suddenly after having only been married for a couple of days. I know how hard it can be to lose a loved one unexpectedly.
