Obituary of Joan Helena Whitney

Joan was born in Senlac, Saskatchewan on July 15, 1929, the second daughter to Alfred & Lena Smith. Joan married Ken Whitney November 16, 1953. Joan and Ken spent most of their married life in Senlac. They moved to Provost in 1995. A short time later, in 1997, Ken passed away. Joan remained living in Provost until she passed away, April 7, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Joan leaves to mourn, her two children, Jerry (Beryl) Whitney of Hinton, Marilyn (Reg) Lodoen of Provost; three grandchildren, Ashley (Simone) Jamieson, Twila (Dan) Levesque, Annette Lodoen; five great-grandchildren, Dominique Levesque, Brendon Jamieson, Tyson Jamieson and the twins, Melissa & Mark Levesque. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Ken; and sister, Ruth (Fred) Mawby.
