Tanya and I met working together at Lethbridge Family Services and from there became close friends. The first meeting between her and Scott took place at my home and it was easy to see that they were meant to be together. I was in her wedding party and she was with me for the labour and delivery of my 8year old daughter who is her namesake. I ended up moving back to Ontario for a number of years and we kind of lost touch but she made a tremendous impact in my life and will keep doing so with her story of courage and the love she had for people. Scott, Bob & Joan, may you find peace in the eyes of her beautiful children - - they are her legacy.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I played basketball against Tanya from Grade 7 until Grade 12. I was from Picture Butte and there was always a rivalry between us. Tanya was a great competitor and a skilled ball player. I will always remember her drive and hard work on the court. Words cannot express the sadness I feel at hearing of her passing. Tanya has touched me in a way that no-one else ever has...who could have thought that such a strong connection could develop over garbage. Yes, that is how we met. I arranged the delivery of Scott & Tanya's garbage dumpster and through that we shared many a laugh. Tanya was, and I strongly believe, still is a shining light and ray of sunshine to every soul she has come in contact with. She was a dedicated and loving mother and wife, who never failed to see the humour in life. I am saddened that I will not be able to hear her laugh again, or meet her in person, but I am so very glad at how she has touched my life in such a wonderful way. My heartfelt condolences go to Scott, Madison and Nolan and I send all of my most loving and healing thoughts in their direction every day. Tanya, I miss you...Your friend, Debi.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Tanya was a friend of mine in coallhurst also dated my brother Mark Ross for a few years. I lost touch with her as life happens that way and of course let my busy life with my family take over.
