Olga was born on July 15, 1923 in Edmonton, Alberta to Steven and Tilly Dankowich, she was one of six girls and two boys born to the family. At the age of 18, Olga moved to Ontario to stay with her sister Kay, joining the war effort working in an ammunition plant. After the war ended, Olga moved back to Edmonton to work at Burns Meat Packing plant. At a dance sponsored by Swifts, she met her future husband Frankie Rehman. Back then, romance moved fast. Six weeks later they were married, the year was 1948. Following the wedding, Frankie and Olga moved back to the farm near Macklin, Saskatchewan and started their family. In 1976, they moved to the farm north of Hayter, Alberta where they could call home for the rest of their marriage. After 56 years of marriage, Frank passed away on May 21, 2002. Olga stayed on the farm for another six years before moving Hillcrest Lodge where she would call home for almost the rest of her time. On November 22, 2017 Olga passed away peacefully at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 94 years. Olga will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jerome Rehman, Pat (Bob) Dart and Michael; grandchildren, Steven (Amber), Brandie, Chris (Erika), Curtis, Mike and Amanda (Aaron); great grandchildren, Skylar, Kinsley, Donovan, Hunter, Jolene, Alex and Emily; sister, Sophie Lewis; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Frank; four sisters and two brothers.
