Obituary of Della Pearson

Della Pearson was born on July 30, 1945 to James and Evelyn Nicol of Wainwright, Alberta. Della spent her growing up years around Wainwright and attended school there as well. On January 25, 1963 she married the love of her life Foster Nels Pearson and together they had three children; Edward, Carlene and Glenda. Della worked at Wainwright Co-Op before she got married and then was busy raising kids. She also worked at the Hillcrest Lodge in Provost, enjoyed catering and driving the school bus. Della loved her music whether just listening or playing her guitar for all occasions. Della was committed to the community which she lived. She worked many hours on different committees. She followed rodeos and chuck wagons. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends, playing cards and visiting. Della passed away on January 25, 2018. She will be sadly missed by her children, Edward (Shelley) Pearson of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Carlene Pearson of Wainwright, Alberta and Glenda (Terry) Pearson of Wainwright, Alberta; grandchildren, Sheldon Pearson, Casey Pearson (Keirstyn), Shellane Pearson, Daniel Lohner and Victoria Lohner; three great grand children; brother, Andrew "Sandy" (Jean); brother in-law Lorne (Marlene); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Della was predeceased by her husband, Foster; parents James and Evelyn; brother, Jimmy; sisters, Doreen, Florence (Gerald); and nephew, Steven.
