Obituary of Paul Joseph Dieser

Paul Joseph Dieser was born on June 13, 1937 in Kelowna, British Columbia to Henry and Katherine Dieser. Paul's life was full of the things he loved: farming, fishing, hunting, being a sports fan (especially the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Maple Leafs, Macklin Mohawks) and most importantly, his family. Paul married Anita Mattus on October 9, 1965 and they had six children which they raised on the Dieser homestead just south of Macklin, Saskatchewan. Paul loved his friends and community, which was constantly reflected by his involvement in the Kinsmen, Macklin Mohawks Executive, Knights of Columbus and especially the Macklin Wildlife Federation. Paul was a lifetime member of the Macklin Wildlife Federation which was complemented by the many lifelong friends he made while there. On March 10, 2018, Paul passed away at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Anita; children, Yvonne (Keith), Richard (Candy), Elaine (Phil), Janine (Kyle), Sharon (Mike), Frank (Stephanie); grandchildren, Jessy (Bobby), Gadge (Amber), Jordan (Erin), Korbin, Kahlan, Dalton, Payton, Kinley; great-grandchildren, Kian, Zoey, Archer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents; brother, Joe; in-laws and grand daughter, Angela Katherine. Paul was known for his jovial and straightforward personality. Whether you needed help with hard work, just a ride somewhere, or getting the fish off (or on) your line, Paul was always up for spending time with others.
