Obituary of Loretta Watchel

Loretta was born July 12, 1937 in Macklin, SK. She was the youngest of nine children born to Balzar & Monica (Wagman) Deck. On June 30, 1962 Loretta & August were united in marriage. In 1963 she began her career as a full time mother and homemaker. She and August raised their nine children in Denzil, SK. As the children grew up and moved away from home. Mom and Dad enjoyed retirement by playing cards and visiting with family and friends. Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, August; her children, Sheila(Dave) Fleck of Camrose, Glen(Rhonda) of La Ronge, Murray(Penny) of Prince Albert, Janice(Rob) Aalbers of Wainwright, Keith of Red Deer, Les(Kari) of Provost, Glenda(Neil) Beeching of Kindersley, Karen(Keith) Tetz of Lloydminster, Amanda(Jeremy) of Unity; 22 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Frank(Loreen) Deck, Eddie Deck; sister, Agnes Schechtel; sisters in law, Angela Deck, Irene(Bill) McMann, Doreen(James) Volk, Marlene(Ken) Dewald, Bev Watchel, Joy Watchel, and Martina Watchel; brothers in law, Clem Watchel, Tony Watchel, Pete(Dolly) Watchel, Ed(Joan) Watchel, Joe(Audrey) Watchel; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda; brothers, Tony, John, Alex, and Lawrence; sister, Regina Weisner.
