I was deeply saddened to hear that Dan had died as I just heard a few days ago that he had taken ill...I'm grateful he wasn't bed-ridden for long. Dan (and Dan & Kaye) were absolutely wonderful to the youth group in opening their home to our chaos and serving dixie-cup vanilla ice cream. Actually, that might have been their signature dessert at every potluck too! More than that though, he/they were like food-for-the-soul: calm and patient, listening and time-giving, challenging and inspiring, wise and full of knowledge, God honouring & God fearing (reverently)...oh, I am sad about this as one of the good ones has been taken home. ...now absent from the body but present with the Lord!

Dear Nish Family , I'm so sorry for your loss. When we lose a loved one in death, we may become overwhelmed by grief. The Bible tells us that Jesus wept when his dear friend Lazarus died. Yet, just minutes later Jesus performed an astounding miracle of raising Lazarus back to life!In doing so, he gave all mankind solid grounds for faith in the amazing promise he had made earlier when he said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) May the precious hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth comfort you during this time.
