Alan Constantine Giofu was born on March 28, 1960 at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Constantine and Shirley Giofu. Alan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at the Provost Health Centre on October 7, 2018 at the age of 58 years, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Alan is survived by his mother, Shirley Giofu of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; his loving wife, Patricia Giofu of Provost, Alberta; daughter, Cathy (Clarence) Giofu; grandchildren, Kyra & Ryder Wilson; stepchildren, Haley Goldie, William Goldie, Amanda (Keith) King and Carla King; brothers, Brett (Debbie) Giofu, Brad Giofu, Calvin (Rhonda) Giofu and Dennis Giofu; along with his nieces, nephews and many close friends. Alan was predeceased by his father, Constantine Giofu of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
