Linda & family. Our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your loving husband & father/ grandpa. We have known Art as our ‘fruit truck man’ for years . Our grandchildren from Vancouver come to visit us every second summer & Art had the amazing gift of remembering them from one visit to the next. He also soon knew what their favourite fruit was & made sure he would show what he had available when they visited him at the truck. Those weekly visits were a highlight every Tuesday. Art will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Art was my friend for 36 years. I will miss our long conversations we had. He was friendly to all. He always had a smile on his face. We often talked about our families , and how he loved his, and what a proud father he was. His pain is gone and he can now rest. Hugs and prayers to all ofhis family. He's with his bro now.

I had known art for over 30 yrs back when he use to come to tramping lake ... he never ever forgot who I was. Even if I only seen him once a year. We use to have some good chats that’s for sure... he will be missed that’s for sure... sorry for your loss

Hi all, I just want to say what a wonderful, fun, and exciting friend Art was. He was my first close friend in high school. We both played trumpet in the community band. Art drew me out of my shell and showed me how to take myself less seriously and truly have fun. I will always treasure memories of my last year in high school and Art will be in most of them.
