I got to know Mary when I was President of the Alberta Potters' Association in the 1970's and Mary was the Regional Representative for the East Central Alberta Region. She was one of the most dedicated members, as she would drive 12 hours to Calgary to attend an Association meeting. She was a gracious lady whose pottery was ground breaking in her use of local materials and burnished surfaces. Dennis Evans

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Mary's story has reshaped faith and humanity for many of us worldwide who have followed her story. May God comfort her family and loved ones.

I heard of Mary's death from Alex Archbald. I have enjoyed her story and the renovation of her Potter House. I am sorry to hear that you have lost your loved one, Mary in death. I know from personal experience that losing loved ones like Mary is very painful and hard to deal with. That is why I am sending you my condolences today. When Jesus was living on earth, he cried when his good friend Lazarus died. (John 11:33-35) Jesus restored Lazarus' life by resurrecting him and then he returned him to his grieving family members. Lazarus' illnesses were healed. Jesus explained that people who die have the hope of living again on a cleansed earth. (John 5:27-29) I look forward to this time! Death is an enemy to us all. (1Corinthians 15:26) I hope that you will see Mary alive again and healthy on earth. For more scriptural information on the earthly resurrection of the dead and other topics, please look on the website JW.ORG. My condolences for your loss.
