Obituary of Adam Paul Reichert

Adam Paul was born on August 29, 1924 at Cactus Lake, Saskatchewan to Paul and Veronica Reichert. He passed away on April 11, 2010 at the age of 85 years at the St. Joseph's Health Centre in Macklin, Saskatchewan. Adam was predeceased by his brothers, Stanley (Annie), Jacob, George (Katherine); sisters, Odelia (Joe) Fischer, Rosalia, Florentina, Elizabeth, Rose (Vincent) Kurtz; as well as nieces & nephews. God saw him getting tired, A cure was not to be So he wrapped him in his loving arms And whispered "Come with Me." He suffered much in silence, His spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage Until the very end. Our hearts still ache with sadness, And secret tears will flow, What it meant to lose him No one will ever know. When we are sad and lonely And everything goes wrong We seem to hear him whisper, "Cheer up and carry on." Each time we see his picture He seems to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm only sleeping We'll meet again someday."
